The soles are hard rubber and jarring as you walk. They are too stiff and slippery for comfortable walking on smooth, hard floors. Soles slip on concrete, painted asphalt surfaces and linoleum if wet.

As we have bought this shoe previously, my husband has always been extremely pleased with the fit and feel.
This is my 6th pair with the only difference being the color.
