Cons
These are the last new balance shoes i am purchasing. This is more like a running shoe. I am a senior and maybe my feet or more demanding?
This is unacceptable. Buyer beware. I belieive the vendor is selling seconds or new balance has serious quality issues.

Quality
I have no issues with the toes or sides opening up (and i use a double-wide shoe).
Consistantly well designed shoes, never have had to complain, alway brilliant quality.
Rockports have pretty good quality all around but they don't make models that are great for a larger person.
