Pros
The mx608v4 is definitely the most perfectly comfortable shoe i've ever worn. The toe area is wide, but that is how shoes should be, instead of squeezing your toes into a tight space.
Cons
After about 2 months of weekend only use the toe section glue gave out. Amazon only gives you thirty days to return a defective shoe. The last 3 shoes i have purchased thru amazon have been too small!
It begins with the wraparound tip at the front and quickly worsens. Has a jarring feeling at anything above a walk and even just walking around the property theres a harsh feeling to impact, not much cushioning at all. Inside padding has shredded.

I have no issues with the toes or sides opening up (and i use a double-wide shoe).
Consistantly well designed shoes, never have had to complain, alway brilliant quality.
Rockports have pretty good quality all around but they don't make models that are great for a larger person.
