Pros
No breaking in, no sloppiness in the heel. No rubbing in the heels or ankle areas. Wide enough in the toe box. Easy to put on by herself.
Good length in the tongue and velcro straps. They have a normal slim profile, so they aren't clunky like all other velcro closure shoes. These fit great, are lighter than their competitors and are a great value.
Good shoe. Recommended especially for senior citizens for comfort. Would buy again from same manufacturer and seller. Blessings for so many situations.
Cons
Very mushy feeling. Slip off my heels. Toe box is narrow, the heel slips and the velcro straps are too short. It's unfortunate that this brand has slipped so much.

Nice quality- new balance can double their profit if they come out with this in black and/or a nice tan.
As long as you don't expect them to last years then they are a good product.
My feet got swollen so i needed quality sneakers that had velcro closures.
Competitiveness
These fit great, are lighter than their competitors and are a great value.
I bought a few brands for my mom (73) to try and these by far were the best.
