This is the 2nd pair of this cush model of walking shoe that i have purchased. These shoes never disappoint the wearer.
The shoebox is plenty spacious and the lavender color is very faint. I like the rocker type front, that encourages pushing off from front of toe. These are very roomy in the toe area, which feels great to me.
Many 10's are a little tight and wait for breaking them in. The amazon price is still great, especially if you have prime and don't mind waiting a day or two. Amazon, please urge new balance to continue manufacturing the 496 v3 shoe.
Cons
There is a seam on the side of the upper and it rubs at the widest part of my foot. The fit is too wide for me. One of the shoelaces is frayed to the point of breaking. They are worn out and have a hole in the toe after only 3 months.

I did have to put a different insole because i need a flat surface and the insole it comes with although nice has a rise in it that killed my arch
