Pros

Shoe has an all leather upper which would be good in rainy weather. Toe box is round which makes them more comfortable to wear. Love the velcro which makes it easy to put on and off.

Cons

It makes me wonder if these are even real nb. Perhaps new balance is not the premium brand, now, that garnered its good reputation.

The velcro hook definitely needs to be longer. The tongue is about 5 inches making the velcro strap too hard to close. The straps are too short leaving velcro on shoe exposed which catches on hem of pants.

I really like the loop strap closures as they are better for walking and not worrying about the strings coming untied and causing tripping.
