Pros & Cons
Pros
No toe jam or inflamed bunion. These shoes feel more comfortable in the wide width because they do seem a bit narrower.
Gives me sure-footed stability and support on the court. Corrects my over-pronation. It's a comfy, supportive shoe that is perfect for pickleball.
They are well cushioned. They also have removable insoles so i can add my own orthotic insoles.
Cons
Shoes are too narrow and too stiff. The leather they are made from looks and acts like it is fake leather (maybe it is). They feel a bit “overpadded” and “underfitted”. Unfortunately, they feel the need to redesign their shoes on a regular basis.
The toe box on these shoes is much more narrow than expected. The 806 iteration has a significantly narrower toe box. But the toe box is way too narrow - for long skinny toes maybe?
Highlights
Quality
5 wide and they are very comfortable.
They fit and look like good quality.
Competitiveness
Needed some court shoes to use for pickleball.
They are my favorite shoes for pickleball.
Could use more arch support for pronated feet.
I wear my new balance 806 to play pickleball.

I have had several pairs of new balance but these shoes were too short and very tight in the toe area not a good fit for a shoe of the price
