There's a little tag that says you can cut off the ends of the straps at the designated creased spots, if they are too long when fastened. These are perfect and so easy to put on and tighten which is important to me.

New balance is a very good brand. Nothing to dislike about their shoes. Very sturdy. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

The inside insert is removable and may make my foot go down a little deeper. Her feet swells at times and she needed a good pair of shoes that was roomy enough but tight enough for everyday wear.

The right shoe has a deep crease diagonally across the toebox, where my big toe is trying to break through the manmade upper. The tongue isn't wide enough to cover my foot. Just trying them on is painful.
