Pros

Super comfy fit. Good traction/grip & stability. Toe protector so should last longer.

Lightweight, comfortable and breathable. They're still comfortable enough however. He loves them for every day use.

Cons

nightmare trash shoes. It definitely isn't. What the heck. These fresh foam are not the nb i've purchased for years.

The toe protect lettering on the toes is so goofy. These aren't steel or composite toe. These shoes are so cheaply manufactured that the toe area is simply applied like paint.

Every part of them is artificial. Generally a flimsy sidewall material, causing instability. They have no padding.

These are just like the last pair of nb my son had, only with tougher soles and water resistant edges, perfect for winter and work shoes.

These will last for about 9 months to a year before showing such serious wear that even he agrees to get a new pair.

Hopefully they are made sturdier as well, being that he had the old ones worn through the sides in a few months.

He is hard on his shoes (walking habits, wide feet), and i don't want to shell out $100+ for something he destroys.

Unlike my experience buying shoes with other vendors, this is a win-win situation.

Sure i own other brands for boots or specific use wear, but i always come back to these shoes (new balance) for daily wear shoes.
