Pros

The design is sturdy. Would definitely buy it again. It never fails. I just hope, it lasts and is as good as my last one has been.

The quality of this retractable leash is amazing! The only thing that is not so good is the strength of the retraction. Works well, no issues with retracting. It pulls and retracts smoothly.

Cons

It seems unnecessarily shady because we aren't the only ones this has happened to. What a disappointment. Not safe.

The tape leash keeps getting stuck when retracting. I have to pull it all the way out and guide it back in with my fingers while retracting so it can straighten out. Weird the sizing isn't consistent for the brand.

This leash is supposed to be a medium rated for 55lbs and can't even handle a 16lb puppy. The leash hook is also very small, which makes using the additional included safety collar useless.
