I was compelled to grab this gen 1 oasis because it was priced at 149. Portability of this one is amazing compared to even the latest models. I like this oasis, which is refurbished.

The sleek design makes it easy to carry with you. Everything is excellent. Best kindle ever.

Kindle oasis loses 50% of the battery over 24 hour and it is not in use.

Oasis 8th generation is my favorite because it is so light-weight. I wish i could love it, but its battery is lousy. My third complaint is that i can’t buy a cute cover for the oasis.

Amazon gave me a 40 dollar refund. By some random coincidence the warranty only lasts a year on it as well.

Reviewer says he can't even turn it off to reboot. Technician agrees there's a problem but wants me to do what i already have done repeatedly (reboot) but now doesn't sync. Have to plug it in and reset/start it all over again.
