Pros & Cons
Pros
The handle has a very good tightening grip. This item is well-made (metal construction) and the clippers are sharp. Very sturdy product. I've had 4 lumbar spinal surgeries, so this tool is absolutely priceless!
Works like advertised for. As long as you soak your nails it works fine. I know it will work if i can get a clipper situated right.
Cons
For the money, this unit is disappointing. You have to shim the plunger just to make it clip your smaller nails.
Good idea but cutter is junk. They are not sharp enough and the clippers just flex without cutting. No leverage to cut through the nail.
These are horrible. Terrible design. Just awful. Good idea but poor execution.

Once fixed i can cut my own toenailsconsthe clipper used is strong enough but bottoms out before it can actually cut

The one from paynefree is well made but too short and had a straight blade which is nearly useless on my toenails

If that one were 4 inches longer with a curved blade clipper itd be gold

Get one of those if you like straight nail clippers

The only problem is that the clipper bottoms out in the holder before it can get a good cut not enough distance for the correct pressure to cut

I would also venture the clipper is only a 67 on a scale of 110 10 being the best

Being who i am i wedged a quarter under the thumbpress of the clipper raising it just that much so the clip spread was narrower still plenty wide but when i press down the clipper didnt bottom out before it clipped

Might even work with a dime rather than quarter
