Bought this for my son for xmas. Just the fact each probe reads both meat temperature and ambient temp is awsome.

Setup it was a bit cumbersome there is a fair bit of work on the phone to get it going

I would have thought ambient would be rather quick but instead it was at least 10 minutes before it reached the max

I did find the time to finish was off as id check every ten minutes and the count down dropped by more than 10

The ambient temperature as pointed out in other reviews is somewhat confusing

But the difference between the grill reported temperature and the ambient reported temperature was not even close off by as much as 200 degrees

I am wondering if i pushed it in so far thinking i was being safer that the ambient reading was affected by this
