Cups is really 3-4 full mugs of coffee. Oh, and that 8 cup jargon - lol, it makes 2 big (normal and typical american sized mugs that 99% of everyone uses) so again, a 12 cup mr coffee will provide way more in about the same space. Only downside for me... Read More

Cons

Even with a deep mug the coffee splashes all over the place. It's also difficult to get all of the grounds that accidentally fall in out. The coffee pools up in the filter which spills out.

Oxo 8-cup drip machine makes okay-tasting coffee, nothing special. It's not hot enough immediately after brewing, and it only gets cooler as it sits in the thermos carafe.

Too much hassle to deal with customer service. Given all the positive reviews it sure seems possible that i simply got a defective unit. Returning this today.

This machine is not worth the fairly high price, or really any price. A better investment for coffee lovers is a decent burr coffee grinder. No in betweens about it. Only good thing about this machine is that it doesn't cost as much as taxis.

We've had every coffeemaker you can imagine, including a $400 capresso.

So, while some people complained about price, see my $400 caprrsso that couldn't be fixed and had to be trashed.

Only gripe is the cost - but if you wait, you can normally buy this on sale for significantly less once or twice a year.
