Pros

Small enough to easily fit in a drawer but big enough to be easy to use. Grip is good, and easy to clean (dishwasher safe) seems very sturdy.

Top rack dishwasher makes clean up a breeze. Easy to clean.

It fit all my criteria and is working well. Looks like a dramatic improvement.

Cons

Do not buy. Outside coating is like plastic. Need a deeper pointy thing to really tenderize food.

Doesnt slip and covers enough area with each pounding motion.

We owned the previous version of this which for some reason was not dishwasher safe which resulted in us hardly using it.

Competitiveness

Worth the extra cost compared to cheaper brands.

It's nicer than the one someone "borrowed" from us, and better to use than a nail hammer, otherwise not sure what to compare it to.
