This is a great value when compared to the lenvo oem battery at about 6 times the price.
Mine locked into place just fine, i noticed the lock geometry is ever so slightly different, but it worked with a t61 just fine.
Easy-peasy rma and the new unit works like a champ.

The initial unit shipped was a very tight fit mechanically and did not work electrically after an overnight charge the machine shutdown immediately when the power cord was disconnected

The initial battery i got was a bit defective and the lock portion of it broke off once i inserted
