Pros
This icepick is strong. The way the tip is fashioned seems to be the key factor in easily splitting ice. No more poking the fridge with a knife or wrecking screwdrivers.
This ice pick is sturdy and a good value, however the manufacturer is not top notch. It wrks well, but wld b better if at least an inch longer. Plenty sharp, plenty durable.
This pick works as promised. Serves it purpose.
Cons
The wooden handle is very, very rough and unpleasant to hold. The metal shaft is too thick, like a metal rod, instead of a thin metal shaft.

It would be nice if the pick was made of tool steel but i understand its for ice and not scribing metal or other tough abuse

Mine with dementia would go on tangents searching the kitchen every few months for an ice pick to use for things that could have been easily and more quickly done using alternate tools without the need for spending a lot of time searching for that ice pick but that icepick has never been found

Originally when shopping for an ice pick i was searching for a pick that would have a knuckle guard because whenever ive used out meat thermometer as a ice pick to break up the melted stuck chunks out of the bagged ice i noticed that i kept smashing my hand into the hard sharp ice boulders and cringed due to the non ergonomic way of gripping the thing to effective ice busting

Such an ice pick doesnt seem to exist thus far so if you are a product developer and like my idea and use it to make a better ice pick please send me 5 of the proceeds
