Out of the box the camera is stunning with a brushed stainless steel and leather trimmed case that has a cool retro look.
Competitiveness
I have a friend with a 4k camera that i compared this to and there is a noticeable difference in detail.
All considered this camera is of great value especially when compared to the features and quality of higher priced cameras in its category.
