Pros & Cons
Pros
This grip improves the overall feel and handlability of the camera. The battery release is very rigid and takes some getting used to when you remove the batteries. Of course, but it’s a very small inconvenience that i will gladly accept.
Cons
It has an on/off switch but does not to anything. Better off just carrying a couple spare batteries with you.

It feels and looks great and it allows for good balancing especially at lower shutter speeds, which was more difficult without the grip.

Keep in mind that the rp was never designed by canon to accommodate a battery grip so there are two small inconveniences 1 the cameras sd card holder is located in the battery compartment so you must remove the grip to access the memory card each time
