Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to tighten and secure around the tree. Takes muscle to tighten them up. Only downside is one of the ratchets broke the very first time we were putting it up. Annoy believe how easy this was to install.
Ordered for my 5 nephew. My 10 year old loves them! And anyone who visits asks us where we got them.
The straps come with ratchet tension levers so you can make sure each strap is tight enough. Lots of excess strap material, the diameter of our tree is maybe 3', but i just tucked each strap into the straps below to keep them from hanging loose. The s... Read More
This is just enough to be challenging and just the right amount of adrenaline for them without being terrifying for us. My 5 year old loves it and i am able to configure it differently to make more challenging as he grows. Hubby and kids like it a lot... Read More
The top hold is around 7' high. Held my 70lb son and myself with no wiggle. And my windowsills and doorways. Once we can actually have parties again i anticipate some hey dude hold my beer sort of shenanigans.
Cons
The holes are more narrow than the straps, however, requiring significant tightening to eliminate wobble. Works alright for a child. Maybe for tiny tots. Amazon is bribing me with a $3.
Highlights
Quality
The n product works just as advertised :)
With the price to see my son climb up the tree like used to at his gym class.
It goes perfectly with the ninja obstacle course i bought.
I may update eventually but its for christmas and a summer time product.
Packaging/appearance
I am dissing it one star for packaging.
Mine came in generic packaging (lose in plane corrugated cardboard box with no label on it).
Competitiveness
I started from the bottom and had my 4-year old testing his reach on each set of holds as i worked my way up.
Held my 70lb son and myself with no wiggle.

We didn’t know that we had to wrap it around multiple times bc the tree we chose wasn’t wide enough

I just figured that was a typo and i placed 3 holds per strap which seemed like common sense but it did make me pause for a minute and reread the directions to make sure i wasnt missing something

You do have to be mindful about which way youre putting the rocks as they are slightly less stable if you put them upside down but that is called out in the instructions

Since it is a gift it would be nice to have a matching box or at least a label showing what was inside and that it wasnt used
