Suggest you open the lock once with the combination because this makes it difficult to impossible to hack

Once locked they stay locked until you key in the correct combo

I have been using these on 2 suitcases and a rolling laptop bag for a while now and my only con is the red indicator that tsa has opened your luggage has never popped i have found the tsa sheet of paper alerting you that they inspected this inside 1 or the other of my bags many times after a trip and the button was not popped on either suitcase lock

I called customer service to see if there was a way to fix the problem

Unfortunately the instructions to set the combination were on the packaging and i cut it up pretty badly
