Its comfortable to wear considering that by its nature it has to be tight but it has smooth edges that does not dig into the skin but dont leave it on too long or use it as a corset this is a medical aid not something to make you look a little thinner

Washing in a machine is not recommended however can easily be hand washed using mild detergent solution
