The usb-c slot at the bottom of the console works well and without issue. It's just a simple extension so it works just fine docked on the tv too.

Zero lag. Makes playing so much more enjoyable.

Cons

Pass-through charger is way too sensitive to the point it stops charging at the slightest movement. Only time we can charge it is when it is completely immobile on a table while plugged in. Not very like new at all.

This was such a huge life saver for my situation with the switch!

Makes it a better play with the games.

He gets frustrated with the game he drops it.

Had issues with the separate controllers pairing an staying paired.

Price

And for the price, i have no complaints.

Given my experiences so far and it's relatively low cost i'd really recommend trying this!

Packaging/appearance

I also tried the repair kit route but that was a pain to fiddle with and they ended up breaking the joycon again anyway.

Competitiveness

This is so much better than using joycons.

It's way better to hold than the standard joy-cons.

I can not go back to playing with my joycons.

So i first saw this on a lightening deal for a cheaper price, but i got side tracked and forgot to buy it.
