One is soft rubber the other is a hard plastic

The 3rd layer hard plastic goes on the front face of the phone and has a holster which is not useful to me personally and so i dont use it

The viewing angle isnt really adjustable once youve snapped the stand back which is required for it to balance

Even after snapping the stand its not the most balanced on a flat surface its great but on an incline or uneven surface it might not stand on its own

I still dont understand the click stand on the holster the phone only goes in face down so you cant watch the screen when installed in the holster
