It was purely user error but my last phone had a screen protector that survived a lot more than the little gaff that shattered this one

Still the second screen protector fit really well on my phone nexus 5x and it works really well i dont have any type of delay or misread through this screen protector so in that respect it works better than my previous screen protector

My phone has been on the receiving end of a couple noteworthy face plants onto concrete and stone where i was almost certain i had shattered both the screen protector and my screen itself only to turn it over and see that the screen protector had once again saved me

Unlike cheap plastic protectors that are prone to reduced functionality these are just thin enough to not be in the way while also providing the perfect amount of distance between the screen protector and the actual screen helps if your screen falls on a gravel like surface where the impact zone isnt flat

Since the protector itself is glass it is very easy to keep clean and through my use for close to a year with them on my phone since day one smudges on the glass have only been noticeable when the screen is off
