Tighten to snug, and then since this is a new plug, go about a half a turn to crush the built in sealing washer.
I feel they are well owrth the extra couple bucks a plug, the other nice feature they have is there is no gap to set or mess up!

It only takes a few minutes to gap them correctly though

You will need a you need a 58” or 16mm long reach or spark plug twrench type socket

On the 2006 scion xb this is about a half an hour job start to finish
