It works and isn't ridiculously expensive. Bought 4 more and sent my cheaper handles to goodwill. I know i'm repeating myself but, this is a really great file handle!

The handle is comfortable and durable. They're comfortable, well-made, and ergonomic. They have a comfortable grip, great for delicate work.

Better off making your own with a few inches of dowel. Product is basically, worthless. The fact that the tang isn't really captured correctly by the handle/insert combo means the file will move as you try to use it.
