We have not experience heat issues either although i would tell you to simply get lighter covers if you did have these issues

The box arrived torn and bashed up so i of course was concerned that the mattress was damaged

The first one was almost 2 full inches short of the claimed 80 which was critical for my 6 2 height

I did experience several days of a chemical smell which i did not get with the first foam mattress but it slowly disappeared

But it definitely takes more effort to turn over during the night especially with a partner next to you so you cant just roll over to a new spot on the bed
