I used a separate plastic tub for the rinsing three good dunks and swishing to get out as much residue as possible and then a final hose off and hanging it up outside to air dry

And once again the big boxy outdoor stores with the lazy and unknowledgeable customer service loses out to amazon because i was looking for one of the other products nikwax makes and they didnt have it or didnt know anything about it
