Direct wash-in waterproofing is a must-have for any skier. Cleaned better than my normal detergent and even got the sleeves back to white.

I let the garments dry for a week and am still not able to get the black * off at all! Avoid if possible. By 20 to 30 seconds the water was completed absorbed.

Obviously the weave of the fabric has to be tight enough to be water resistant in the first place it won’t turn your wooly fleece sweater into a raincoat

It will however add water beading qualities to garments not treated with a special coating by the manufacturer

If you are finding your gore tex or other synthetic garments don’t bead water anymore this will most likely return them to optimal function

I always wash the item according to the directions on the tag then run through again with no detergent
