This is thinner and seems to have more of a grip to both sides. One bragged about it's ability to hold firm and slid all over the place as my dogs raced over the rug. They add a tiny bit of padding and keep the rugs from slipping.

Had to cut itdown a little. On this occasion it seems fitting. It’s a miracle.

No cushion or padding is added to rug. Shifting is another word for slipping but this is supposed to be slip resistant. Anytime i put the slightest bit of pressure as i walk off the pad, it move a visible amount.

Product has a strong chemical odor. Fibers from the rug would accumulate on the surface of these pads and render them entirely useless. Rates a total zero.

It's not extra thick. Also, it's super thin. Had to cut to size - which is annoying given the large size. It's impossible to use under large rug.
