Pros & Cons
Pros
The ninja cfn601 is almost a perfect coffee maker for a family of coffee drinkers. This is our third ninja appliance and i am really impressed with their quality and performance. The coffee maker is great for regular ol’ coffee.
Built in frother works really well and is easy to clean. I use the frother to mix in my protein powder in my coffee, each morning. It does drip after use so have a napkin on standby.
It's like this machine was designed to make life simpler and coffee tastier. Has plenty of options for sizes and strengths. Surprisingly compact for the amount that it can offer.
What's really game-changing is how it caters to my iced coffee obsession.
Cons
Over priced basic coffee maker. Battery operated frother works better than the frother on this machine. Milk frother doesn't heat the milk - they recommend microwaving this too - huh?
Plain hot water was dispensed. There's no crema, there's no bold flavor. Water leaks out the bottom and sides of the tank.

With the right pods, the espresso is great, and the cold frothier on the side works like a charm.
It was a real mess because i often had to clean up spilled grounds that would overflow during brewing.
This machine does not use virteo capsules!
Price
This is definitely a home run machine especially for the cost!
All in all, i highly recommend this machine (especially the cost).
I wanted the coffee shop ability without paying $5+ a day for a coffee.
But, it's a small price to pay for such a short to time to enjoy the deliciousness to follow.
Shipping
We came home, and for months, i wanted espresso, so i kept researching espresso machines and came across this one.
Packaging/appearance
I got a rosso espresso pods gift set with this and those work great with this system.
If you’re gifting this- throw in that ceramic pitcher and maybe some liquid coffee syrups with pumps (great touch)!
Competitiveness
The brother on heated milk and it’s just as good as my much more expensive automatic espresso maker.
With the water caraft at the back, it is no wider than the ninja coffee maker it replaced.
I was debating between this and a nespresso and went this route due to reported problems with the nespresso ones.
