Pros
Carafe's insulating properties are excellent, having tried it with iced diluting juice. They also keep the coffee at a good temp, and also they are kid-friendly as the glass exteriors keep cool. Only downside is the milk foamer.
The ninja comes with a milk-froth pump to froth up milk in the microwave. It still manages to prepare an adequate espresso-like brew.
The machine brews really good coffee in not much longer than it takes to boil the billy. Love the stylish shape with its practical design.
My thoughts are that it's pretty good, amounting to around a 65% mark overall. It looks great and feels premium with good quality materials. The included accessories are all of high quality as well.
The mug platform is a nice idea. The rubberised non-slip concentric circles add to the quality feel.
Cons
Coffee maker will not brew coffee and refuses to be cleaned. It starts beeping at you after dribbling about 100ml of water through. The caramel macchiato is awful! The frother is a complete waste of time.
Ninja don't have any answer to it evidently other than replace the unit if under warranty. Control of the machine is quite basic, despite the advertising hype about iq technology.

Price
If i was a coffee addict, i'd be buying a £1600 jura j6 since nothing else comes close to it!
Managed to get it when on sale for £69!
That last point, is one to remember, "at the price".
It's easy to find fault, but remember you're paying less than £100, not £1000 for a plumbed machine.

I use the same amount of coffee for two cups with my bialetti as i do for one cup with the ninja.

In the instructions of the ninja it will tell you to use 8 scoops for a full carafe 4 scoops for half a carafe and 3 scoops for cappuccinos and lattes i followed these instructions but i was getting very severe headaches

When i read the instructions on the coffee packets it stated 1 tablespoon per cup so i tried 4 scoops for a full carafe 2 for half a carafe and 1 for cappuccinos and lattes this was a bit too weak for my liking but the headaches were better

I very nearly sent my machine back with the problems i was having in the beginning but boy am i glad i didn’t now get the strength of the coffee right to the way you like it and yes it does make amazingly tasty coffee either as a filter coffee or as cappuccino

The machine does the work and only uses the water required based on your selection of drink

I use paper ones no mess just remove permanant filter and replace it with a size 4 filter paper fill it with coffee and away you go when finished brewing just lift out and pop in the bin or use in compost bin
