Pros

The inside of the grill is fairly easy to wipe down after each use. The plates are all dishwasher safe. Only complaint is the top inside lid and having to clean it.

Grill works great as a grill and roast machine. The temp probe with the presets work outstanding. Meat doneness per the probe matches my independent meat thermometer. The ability to modify the preset done temperature is useful for seafood.

The ninja ig651 foodi smart xl pro is an outstanding indoor grill and griddle combo. It comes with a grill plate, a griddle, and an air fry basket. The griddle works excellently.

I am so impressed with this cooker. I'm not a gourmet chef or anything, but as a dad in his 40's who does the majority of the cooking, the ig651 has been an amazing addition. This is well worth the money.

The one drawback is the slope of the grill. Love it and use it daily. Grateful for the smart ninja line and wouldn't buy one of their grills without it.

Cons

If you were just wanting an indoor grill, it would be fantastic…. Bacon is a absolute no! Too expensive just to be an indoor grill. Big hassle with new replacement after a few months.

As a griddle the grease has no place to runoff. As an air fryer the grease puddles in the divots in the basket. F for chicken results in the most inedible piece of chicken ever.
