It's great to have the sharpener! The sharpening process is quite simple. The built in sharpener is great. Heavy in weight, easy to sharpen and looks nice on the counter.

The one-piece blade unit is ever so larger than the riveted handles. They are not dishwasher safe but that’s not a big deal to me.

Cons

Value for the money zero. The essentials set isn't even sold through amazon. Also, buyer beware.

It keeps jamming on the small knives and won't sharpen them. When i put a big knife in it clears and try's to sharpen but the sharpener isn't touching any of my knives.

It is a very high-quality product, and i love the sharpening attachment that it has, making this a knife set i will use for years.

We have lost our scissors already and not all knives fit in the sharpener.

They will easily slice through whatever you're cutting and even parts of fingers you don't want to cut.
