Pros
It quickly heats up water that matches your choice of tea, coffee, and oatmeal. You can program it to an exact temperature (in increments of 5 degrees) as my child and i prefer to drink warm water at 125 degrees f.
The kettle makes a beautiful display on your kitchen countertop. It comes with a filter that attaches on the inside near the spout. The exact water temperature is crucial for the perfect brew.
Here are our likes and dislikes. I love the color and how thick and durable the material is. Blue stainless color is beautiful!
I like that the beep is not loud and that you can have it hold the temperature for 30 minutes. Wish list- a programmable button for custom temperature setting.
Handle stays cool to touch after heating up water. Heats up quickly and holds the selected temperature for up to 30 minutes. Even with my mistake regarding it being hot to the touch, i still like it enough to not bother returning it.
Cons
The main flaw is the whole thing heats up. Started leaking from the heating coil on the bottom of the kettle. To address, we have to fiddle with it, and rotate on the base until a better connection occurs, and then it boils.
This is terrible at all. Now, it's just annoying and aggravating. This is why we have so much trash piling up all over the world. Also the preprogrammed temperatures are just dumb.
