Although it's flat, you can feel a little click when you depress them. Wish list- a programmable button for custom temperature setting.
The kettle makes a beautiful display on your kitchen countertop. The stainless steel option is great too because the water holds its temp. The opening is wide and nothing hinders or juts out when you pour water inside.
Blue stainless color is beautiful! It is nice but not as stunning. The color and how thick and durable the material is.
It pours very well! Pours nicely without dripping. Comes with a filter that attaches on the inside near the spout.
Cons
All that weight is on the bottom of the pitcher that probably wasn't even soldered on properly. Main flaw is the whole thing heats up. Will be using my refund to invest in a 2nd cuisinart.
This is terrible at all. Now, it's just annoying and aggravating. This is why we have so much trash piling up all over the world. Also the preprogrammed temperatures are just dumb.
We have to fiddle with it, and rotate on the base until a better connection occurs, and then it boils. We literally have to press the on/off button multiple times for it to catch and start the water boiling.

I am extremely happy i spent a little more money and bought this kettle!
Not easy to find a kettle for tea with open temperature settings (not only a few pre-setings), so i was a bit sceptical due to it's price.
