Pros

This product rocks! Love the color, it is like a slate blue. It has enough room to do a very large pot of soup or a roast for a large family. I usually choose to store something like this away in the pantry closet for specific meals.

Good quality workmanship, good quality materials, and even has some recipes included. Coating seems durable and is super easy to clean.

I saw this on sale at costco and snagged as i needed a new crock pot. Instead of a heavy/fragile ceramic crock, it has a light/strong aluminum pot. Love the versatility of using as a crockpot, on the stove, or in the oven.

The ninja multi-cooker can be used for slow cooking, dutch oven cooking (baking), soups/stews, etc. Use the dial to select slow cook. Press the +/- temp arrows to select hi or lo.

Cons

Reviewer says the crock pot doesn't work properly. He also has a similar slow cooker/sous vide instant pot but its temp is a few degree off and slow to bring up the temp for sous vide.

Very shoddy indeed. Just started process to get a refund. Kind of worthless.

Metal base of mine bubbled up on first use. Pot protrudes over the top of the base, causing you to burn your arm.

I have always been a fan of the ninja brand but this product with the 8 quart makes a big difference over the 6 quart.

Now the cheaper gray one isn't available and i have to replace it with more expensive black one if i want to return it.

This is a problem i’ve had with other slow cookers and still is a problem.
