The the blade attachment was stripped. Returned for a refund. There's a pending lawsuit against ninja for this design problem.
The blade constantly falls out. The shaft that extends into the food is not accessible and there is no easy way to clean it. The blade was tearing into the tub and the top lid, ripping small shreds that went into the ice cream.

This is a very good ice cream maker even kids 10 and over can use it i strongly recommend

I was able to make icecream with limited ingredients and almond milk and, and it still gave an icecream texture.
5 months but one day she said it started sparking and unplugged it.
