Pros

The machine itself is neat & compact and can easily be left out on the worksurface. A little noisy but does the job quickly. Very powerful motor.

I am a nutritionist and i have my protein shake every morning. The ninja blends frozen fruit and ice in seconds and feels well made. Very potent and crushes everything. Comes with two cups and lids.

Cons

Bought it expecting really smooth blend but ended up with grits. It takes so long to blend that the smoothie becomes warm and has to be refrigerated for 45 mins before using. Will donate to charity shop.

Packaging/appearance

In addition friends and family have ordered on my recommendation as they're exactly what they say on the box.

Just make sure you have it up the right way when you take it out the box the large end is the top the small end is the base.

Competitiveness

It makes a big difference from cheaper ones.

Very fast compared to my old decrepit smoothie maker.

This was a replacement for a similar breville “cup” active blender which had only lasted just over a year and was poor by comparison.

Also tried a kenwood blender, this was a complete waste of money as the seals are easily damaged and you can no longer buy a replacement.
