Pros
This controller is pristine and is a perfect replacement for my old broken one. Came packaged very neatly. Only a few aesthetic imperfections like minor scratches.
Sticks are tight and responsive, none of the * stuck except for the left shoulder button. All the * work fine after playing plenty of smash for over 2 months after purchasing.
It's still good for combos on the super smash brothers melee gamecube version.
Cons
The joystick and * are in such terrible shape and have the most vile accumulation of gunk in and around the button.

These controllers are used but feel like they are out of the box.
Price
Bought one from "marie's market" for $40 and received a very good controller.
Don't waste your money on knock offs go for the real deal
Maybe the price as of me writing this is temporary because they're out of stock.
Bought this about a year ago for a lot cheaper than it is now.

Got through amazon warehouse so would be expected.
Packaging/appearance
The one i received was a black controller with type 3 (plastic housing) stickboxes.
Works perfectly but didn’t come in the original packaging.
Came with a little bit of gunk on it but that cleaned right off.
Competitiveness
After many knock off controllers he needed the nintendo brand one & it made a big difference.
Perfect for competitive super smash brothers ultimate.
If you're debating between the slightly cheaper ones on ebay and these, i would say 100% go with amazon.

Buuut the analog was perfecly aligned to the notches and any of the need for deadzones for snapback the analog stick rubber starting to degrade and get very sticky to the finger pad or the triggers giving me a hard time trying to light shield isnt a mark against a controller this old its just a matter of replacing very worn out hardware

What’s important is that the rubber on the main joystick is complete and intact and none of the buttons stick they’re as they should be
