Quality
Having had earlier nintendo ds versions my daughter knew what to expect and is pleased with the product itself.
No problems with the device as of yet.
Very solid console but not with the adaptor
The 3d and image effect / quality also looks like it has been improved generally, since i compared it to my older 3ds xl.
Price
I got a game and 3ds when the price had dropped low enough as part of the monster hunter package.
Shipping
I eventually figured out how to format it but please make sure that you guys reset the product before shipping it!

Don't assume you can use it straight out of the box - it doesn't contain everything you need!
It's so good, that objects can pop right out of the screen at you, and you'll even start seeing double vision at realistic times!
Competitiveness
This has so much more compared to a regular 3ds.
Slightly larger and thicker than your average smartphone, so definitely portable (the main reason i picked this up over the larger 3dsxl).

Coming from someone who had a launch 3ds this is very much an improvement over the original model higher specs with the circle pad pro basically built in but there are a few problems related to the changespros a good upgrade to an already good systemthe increased power and buttons is used in most new games even old 3ds titlesbuilt in amiibo supporta much better web browser can now play html5 videocons lack of exclusive game support i can think of 2 off of the top of my headc stick gives little to no feedback not too bad for games when its used for the camera but horrible for games like super smash brosthe power button can be a pain to hit sometimes

I already have the older 3ds xl and although i love that console the 3d effect was messing with my eyes because of the limited movement you have with it

It was entirely due to my failure in noticing that this is not 3ds xl that i had to return it
