Quality
Having had earlier nintendo ds versions my daughter knew what to expect and is pleased with the product itself.
No problems with the device as of yet.
Very solid console but not with the adaptor
The 3d and image effect / quality also looks like it has been improved generally, since i compared it to my older 3ds xl.
Price
I got a game and 3ds when the price had dropped low enough as part of the monster hunter package.
Shipping
I eventually figured out how to format it but please make sure that you guys reset the product before shipping it!

Don't assume you can use it straight out of the box - it doesn't contain everything you need!
It's so good, that objects can pop right out of the screen at you, and you'll even start seeing double vision at realistic times!
Competitiveness
This has so much more compared to a regular 3ds.
Slightly larger and thicker than your average smartphone, so definitely portable (the main reason i picked this up over the larger 3dsxl).

It is compatible with old ds games which means you can buy here on amazon loads of games for little money the touch screen is well implemented even if the screen resolution is a bit low for today standards

Also when i opened the 3ds i noticed the console wasnt fully charged so i didnt have a lot of time to play around with it

Power saving mode is very useful especially when youre in a place that doesnt have wifi or internet
