The majority of the titles are playable by 6 years and up as there is no blood or violence other than cartoon jump on their head to defeat them kind of violence

Nothing you see from playstation or xbox to draw in the mature crowds are seen from nintendo generally

Also the 3d pop out the screen effects are left out of this version of the console which nintendo warn not to let young players use at it can damage their vision
