Pros & Cons
Pros
Version as pictured or described in the product details or many reviews. The builds are super fun and the video instructions are perfect! A friend i know has a 7 years old who got the car racing one and built it himself.
Nintendo labo is a kit of cardboard cutouts that you build and interact with. When creasing the cardboard fold lines, be sure to pay attention to your child. Box is chock full of super interesting stuff.
This is one of the most creative toys i've ever seen. This is so creative and worth every penny! Well worth the money.
Cons
The bike does not steer as you would think, you have to lean to steer. Nintendo support is not helpful, with the technicians not understanding the problems at all or giving me incorrect info.
Highlights
Quality
I played with my godsons and they were having a very good time with the labo.
My 11 yr old absolutely loved this product!
Price
Good investments, considering many days of fun with this thing and even with full price i would say it worth it.
Packaging/appearance
I’m giving 4 stars for the near fatal heart attack and the underwear i ruined when i opened the packaging.
Other than the japanese packaging it’s exactly the same as what you’d get in an american retail store.
Competitiveness
There's some minigames included as well, like a minecart ride and bowling.
Though it's heavy-duty cardboard, they could be easily broken if a young child was trying to use them.

The rc car isnt exactly how you would expect to control it moves by the vibrations of the two joycons and you can adjust the vibrations for faster or slower movement

Theres an extension to add to the holder for a longer reach but i ran into a bit of a problem theres a little flap thats supposed to block the extension from going too far into the holder but i got a little too invested in a race pushing the extension too hard against my chest and the flap broke

Thankfully the extension is optional but i think there could have been a better way to hold the extension in place

While this was a great way for nintendo to go back to their roots in making innovating products using cardboard for building can lead to deterioration or breaking and sadly the labo kits may not last many years because of it

The unique stickers should have been a no brainer for nintendo to either pack extra of these or offer up as a small separate package to purchase if needed
