Pros

This is the only shave cream that seems to work. Lathers well, using a merkur 33c classic safety razor with an astra de blade. No sting, no allergy issues, just great shaves.

It shames all other creams i've used. The scent isn't great, but not terrible. It smells very nice and fresh.

The tube is not too large and there's nothing pressurized, so it's great for travel or for the gym. Bought this at a local supermarket for $3. Had to order this from greece.

With a brush the lather i get is slick and thick. Very slick, cushiony lather. Just a small dab easily works up into a good cup of warm lather.

Great price and service. Quick shipment. At $4 a tube, this simply cannot be beat.

Cons

Nivea shave cream does not produce the same lather as a brush. The film is too thin to adequately lubricate the razor resulting in razor burn. It is very thick and tends to stick to the razor; therefore, it is difficult to clean.

Very deceptive. Will never buy from this supplier again. A complete failure. Skip this product.

Makes my single edge safety razor glide effortlessly, and skin feel clean, taut and yet not dry after the shave.

Try a product like this or ye olde shaving soap with a brush and rediscover what grandpa knew about shaving!

Competitiveness

Better than gillette, cremo and art of shaving cream.

Better than pro-raso, which is another one i use.

I recently began wet shaving and tried other shave gels and foams but nothing compares to nivea shave sensitive shave cream.

I never tried the standard non sensitive version of either the cream or the balm, so i cannot compare.
