Pros & Cons
Pros
The molecule, ferrous fumarate, provides better bioavailability than ferrous sulfate. It has a stool softener which helps with constipation.
Highlights
Quality
As a nurse i recommend this product.
These, with the addition of a stool softener, have been around for many years and so far, so they don't cause constipation.
Price
I only gave them 4 stars because they are expensive and the cost is sometimes prohibitive.
Competitiveness
You can break them in half and take them as a daily suppliment too.
It costs more than similar products, but it is worth it!
Although they aren't covered by my insurance, as some are, no one has been able to improve on them (and i have tried many cheaper brands).
