Pros

A little goes pretty far and it really absorbs quickly. This smells great.

The product looks great, lathers great and shaves great. This soap makes a great lather but it is not easy. Smells nice and provides a fragrant slippery surface for the skin.

This scent is sophisticated, domesticated, classy, fashionable manliness. It's what your girlfriend/wife would get for you at sephora. The scent is really nice and refreshing but not too girly smelling.

It's definitely french--citrus, spice and delicate cologne. Initial spray is brighter and sweet. I personally think it's a tad heavy, but better that than no scent at all.

Also, the scent lingers and stays on the skin but not overwhelmingly.

Cons

It is useless. No lather. Save yourself the money, go with more effective shaving cream- even unscented and spend your time with the conditioner, body wash, and cologne.

Combine with the lotion smell lasts most of the day, i work outside and sweat scent lasts most of the day.

Product lasted a few months and i think it is a good value.

Competitiveness

Works better than the proraso pre-shave products i had been using!

I guess it moisturizes adequately but i can't say it is any better than cheaper products you can get in any drugstore.

Decided to try this bar soap, as i am generally a fan of the pre de provence products.
