Unfortunately you must have it fit tight and your dog will act accordingly in order for it to work

I have no issues with the sd6 product however i must say that as an owner of 2 pyrs it was very difficult to see my dogs corrected

As for my huge male pyrs reaction he jumped in the air and kept trying to bite down under his chin at the collar then he jumped and snapped back behind himself not knowing where the correction was or what was causing it

Ok unit but it did not come with the buckle style collar and that was what i wanted

The only problem i have is that the manual says suitable for all days 8 lbs and up

But the collar does not fit my 15 lb terrier mix and thus the probe does not sit on her throat where it should and cannot detect the vibration of her vocal chords when she barks
