4 star for the sound quality, i will order again maybe the next one will be okay.
It's brought about marked improvement in sound quality but i swapped out the tubes for a pair of ge equivalent on day one.
Price
If i remember, i will update how that sounds, but with the standard setup, and not even settled in, and the price, just give it a go .
For the price i doubt you could beat it.

Fyi i'm feeding it from either a yammy musiccast streamer from spotify or a rega planar 3 through a project phono stage.
I have bought a 2nd unit + ge 5654 tubes just in case of failure of the original.

Obviously once the music starts you cant hear any interference but i think im going to work on positioning the unit and eliminating any unwanted noise

As mentioned in other reviews the flat point of the bass and treble are at 12 o clock although they are not marked part of the reason it dropped a star such a silly mistake you need to know were to set them for different music

Conclusion is that it is recommended for its ability to alter the tone to your liking but dont buy if you think it will substantially increase your volume in this kind of setup it wont

The glow from the new valves is natural as opposed to the leds on the stock tubes the only problem now is the brightness of the power on led which overcomes the blue glow and is a problem with most chinese kit ive bought
